As a member you will receive our monthly email newsletter, SSSA Notes and access to the Members Only portion of this web site.  Each month the newsletter contains members’ personal stories, tips and advice as well as announcements of conferences and seminars.  The Members Only portion of our web site contains a roster of contact information of all active members, a photo gallery, access to our advisory board of professionals and archives of past newsletters.

More importantly, by becoming an SSSA member you will be supporting our organization and the programs that we offer to the public such as:

  • An Annual Conference for families to network and learn more about the syndrome from experts in medical, educational and therapeutic fields.
  • A toll-free phone line (888) 246-7772 ringing into the home of a veteran member, offering support and answers to questions about Sotos syndrome and the SSSA.
  • Distribution of an informational book Sotos Syndrome:A Handbook for Families written by experts in the syndrome from the University of Nebraska.
  • Distribution of an informational DVD Sotos Syndrome: A Journey from Diagnosis through Life produced by the SSSA featuring experts, parents and individuals with the syndrome speaking of their experiences and expectations.
